Dr. Laura Engbretson

Dr. Laura Engbretson grew up in Memphis and returned in 2007 to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology, focusing on underserved neighborhoods in the Memphis area. Since moving to private practice, she continues to serve the community seeing patients from the Church Health Center, as well as participating in medical mission trips.

Dr. Engbretson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and received her medical degree from University of Alabama in 2003. She completed her residency in Florida State University's OBGYN Residency Program. Dr. Engbretson was the recipient of Louis C. Henry Excellence in Clinical Teaching Awards, UT ObGyn Residency and is a Member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. She is married to Dr. John Engbretson a family Medicine physician with St. Francis Medical Partners, as well as mother to three energetic boys. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, traveling and is a member of the cello section in the Germantown Symphony.
